The 2010 Waterloo Region Inspiring Woman Award

AAll over the Waterloo Region there are women who inspire us through their achievements, their commitment and their wonderful personalities. The Waterloo Region Small Business Centre will pay tribute to one (1) Inspirational woman in the Waterloo Region.

Who is she? We need YOU to nominate an inspiring woman!

Please complete all of the award criteria sections with as much detail as possible. Award submissions must be received by 4:00 p.m. on August 20, 2010.

The winner will be contacted by September 3, 2010. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Award Criteria:

• Must be a female and living in the Waterloo Region.
• Cannot be a previous winner of the Award.
• Must have achieved success in her respective field.
• Someone who has made a contribution to her community and society as a whole.
• She comes from all walks of life and professions.
• She already stands out among peers for capturing opportunities, overcoming challenges, and yet perceives, the best is yet to come.
• A woman whose self-sacrifice, unwavering dedication and generosity of spirit lead others to achieve greatness in their own right.
• A positive model for generations to follow.
• She is a woman who has made a significant impact to those around her—a lasting legacy for future generations.
• The winner must be available to attend the conference on Thursday, September 16, 2010. The winner and one guest will receive a complimentary ticket.
